Coach Dave - Special Olympics World Summer Games 2011
During 20th June - 7th July,Coach Dave was involved in the World Summer Games 2011 in Athens for Team Singapore Special Olympics Football. He was the head coach of the team accompanied by 2 co-coaches and 7 players participarting in the 5-aside football tournament. A total of 7 games were played and the team were undefeated in all of them winning 4 games and drew the other 3. This impressive streak managed to let the team struck Gold for Team Singapore and it was also the first time Team Singapore won Gold in a World event for Special Olympic in football. Upon arriving back to Singapore,the welcome back party including the Minister Of State were there to congratute the whole delegation of Team Singapore. Coach Dave together with his other 2 co-coaches were also invited to attend a appreciation ceremony organised by Singapore Football Coaches Association. Samsung Kids Soccer League In Singapore
Singapore Soccer Academy had three teams participating in this new and exciting league. They were namely SSA Falcons, SA Eagles and SSA Hawks. It was a league for children aged eight and nine years old. As always, our participation was to give the boys as much exposure as possible. We in the academy had always envisaged that these competitive games will help the child to develop his potential and to excel. read more
Asia Now Junior Indoor Soccer League 2010 29th April 2010, 9.33pm
Singapore Soccer Academy launched the first-ever indoor children's soccer league in Singapore 30th May 2010. The league is organized and operated by Singapore Soccer Academy, with generous support from title sponsor Asia Now. Guest of Honour Mr Lim Kia Tong of the Football Association of Singapore helped us launch the kids soccer league, and there were a number of activities for the kids. The Asia Now Junior Indoor Soccer League includes teams from a number of football organizations across Singapore.
