It’s been a long time since the last news letter was out due to some clean up and construction of the website. Please feel free to visit our site and drop your comments on how we can improve to help you better and keep visiting regularly to follow us on our updates.

New Season
We had a very positive response to the start of the new  year and season, and would like to thank all parents for the continious support and believe that you have with the academy. We are going in the right direction with the coaches education we have had in Dec 2009 and it will be a process of getting the coaches inline with the philosophy of the soccer academy and upgrading their skills.

Term 1
Term I , we are into passing and receiving and it will progress according to standards of the classes. Those who have been with us have shown great improvement and we will also work on the decision making aspect of the game. We believe at SSA, every child have the choice of making a quality decision and mistakes are bound to happen and it’s fine with us as long as they learn from it.  

Coaches
We have introduce new, young and experience coaches as assistance and the experience will surely help in their development as we could see an expansion in all the classes.

League
We have exposed player to the ISA League and it’s very good to see them exploring their ability  & Skills .We are looking at performance base results and they have done very well without doing anything outdoor. We have lots of inquiry about outdoor and at last we have started it.

Outdoor / Specilise Goal Keeper Coaching
We had about 20 & 1 goal keeper for a start on a Saturday morning from 8.30am to 10am . It’s at Yio Chu Kang Stadium .The facilities is fantastic. There is a public Swimming pool, Tennis court, Gym, Running track and 2 restaurant and URA parking lots available. We are serious of bringing football to another level with the support from all of you  .

Indoor League
Indoor league will be starting soon and would like all parents to sign up .The league is design to give every child  some playing time and exposed them to competition. It will not be result base but performance base and the age group will be from U6,U7,U8,U9,U10,U11 . We need your support and the league will stretch about 4mths and will be played on Sunday morning on every alternate week. We are having a small squard so every child will have enough playing time .The will be a fee and will make known soon,
