Dear Parent
We are really proud of your children for all the effort and commitment they have demonstrated during this past term. We continue to see step-by-step improvement across the board.

Indoor. The new indoor term starts during the week of September 13th. Depending upon when your child trains, that means the term for your child will begin on Wednesday the 15th, Friday the 17th, or Saturday the 18th. Outdoor. Our outdoor term has already started on August 21st and it will end on December 11th. As a further incentive to drive continued growth of our outdoor training initiatives, we are pleased to offer a 20% discount to any parents of our existing indoor field student that send their children to our outdoor sessions. Soccer Carnival. We will be having a carnival on Saturday, November 20th at the Yio Chu Kang Stadium, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There will be lots of fun, at only $10 per child.

Fees. We still have some parents who are past due on fees.  Please get current as soon as possible, as our increased size now means that need to get more rigorous on collections!

Separately, we regret to inform that we are reviewing our fee structure as a result of a significant increase in our pitch fees.  We will let you know as soon as we set the new fee structure.  In a sense SSA is a victim of its own success, as our growth and resulting increasing need for pitch space is making it harder and harder to receive preferential pitch fee rates.

Sponsorship. We are actively seeking a principal and ancillary sponsors for SSA. This would include naming rights on the new kits that we will soon put into production, and is a great community-enriching opportunity to promote your products or services. December camps. The camps have always been exciting and dates will be out soon.

Overseas Trip in 2011. Our much-awaited overseas trip will be to Vietnam in March of 2011. As many of you know, Vietnam is one of the most enthusiastic footballing nations in Southeast Asia, and we expect to have a wonderful experience. We are already putting together arrangements with our contacts – we would plan to leave Singapore on a Friday and return the following Monday, with two days of football baked into the schedule. We would very much like to see as many people going as possible and we would appreciate your expressions of interest as soon as possible, with firmer commitments in December.
